How stampy is made Get a scutch of potatoes and wash them clean. Then scrape the skin with a knife. After this make a scraper. This is done by putting fifteen or more holes in a piece of tin. Place the scraper against a tub or something solid and rub each potato to it until you have theme made into soft mash. Add a little butter and salt also a little flour to make it stick. After this place the stampy on a griddle and let it bake for twenty minutes. Serve while hot with butter and tea or hot milk.
