  1. Cure for ring-worm:- Sulphur and lard mixed and rubbed to the patch of ring-worm.
    A pain in the ear:- catch an eel and cut the head off, then let the blood drop into the ear and the pain will go.
    Cure for a wart:- after a shower of rain if there is water lodged on a stone, dip the wart in the water three times, and the wat will disappear.
    Cure for a toothache on the tooth with a hole:- Get a little lime and put it into the tooth, then cover it with brown paper and the tooth will fall to pieces.
    If fluid got into your eye: wash it in salt and water.
    If you found a potato lost on the road put it in your pocket for a few days, and if you are suffering from a toothache it will then go.
