  1. In a field about two hundred yards from the parish church is a Holy Well dedicated to St. Senan. History tells us that about two hundred year's ago St. Senan was the Patron Saint of the parish.
    St. Senan's Well is situated in the trunk of a huge tree. This tree is regarded by the people of Kilshanny as being holy too.
    Nobody ever makes use of a branch of this tree.
