There are many forts all over Ireland. In some of the forts fairies are often seen. There is a fort in Poll an nAdhmaid. The old people say it was built by the Irish people during the time the Danes were in Ireland. One day a man was coming down the mountain and he saw a dinner left on the fort. he turned around and when he looked towards where the dinner was he could see no dinner. He became very frightened and ran home. Next day he brought a few people with him. They searched around and could find nothing. The fort is made with clay and is very round.
