    The people used to have very strange sort of cures.
    Whooping cough. The best cure for a whooping cough is to drink a ferret's leavings or milk from a grey mare.
    For Burns or scalds. A person who licks a lizard will cure the burn by licking it with his tongue.
    For bad colds. Garlic if boiled in milk is good for colds.
    For a bad cut. A foxes tongue if put to the tongue will cure it.
