  1. Near my house in Whitemount there is a Cathair called “Cathair na hAille.” There is another one near Cusacks in Boulthadine. It is supposed that if a person went into it he would see a fairy. It is made of clay and is round.

  2. In Poundtown there is a Cathair called the Cathair Mhór. It is round and is built of stones. There is a cave in it and is covered with big stones.

  3. About a quarter of a mile from Thomas Mackey’s house there is a ring of clay with some trees growing on it. It is called a “lios”.
    In Ballard there is another lios with flags, and trees growing around it. There is also a well in this lios.
