Monday is an unlucky day for removing into a new house. It is unlucky for a dress maker to cut out a dress on Friday. St. Stephen’s day is a lucky day for bleeding horses. It is lucky to get married on Shrove Tuesday. It is lucky to cut lambs’ tails on Good Friday. It is unlucky to cut one’s hair on Monday.

If a person cut his nails on Monday he will have no luck. Tuesday is an unlucky day for removing horses or cattle. If a person started any work on a Saturday and if he did not finish on that day he would not finish for a long time. Wednesdays and Fridays are lucky days for tilling. Friday is a lucky day for removing furniture. Wednesday is a lucky day to sow potatoes.
