    Mrs. McGrath Knockatour Inagh is I believe the oldest woman in Co. Clare at present. She is 100 years now.
    Up to a few months ago she was well able to sew, knit and spin. She never wore glasses.

    There was a Parish Priest in Kilmaley long ago and he was very fond of money and it was supposed that nobody could ever get a joke over on him.The day a man who lived near the place bet with another man that he would fool the priest, and get a glass of whiskey from him. The other man bet a £1 that he would not fool the priest.
    The priests house was about a mile away and both men went there as quickly as possible.
    When they reached the house the first person they met was the priests housekeeper. They asked is the priest inside. Yes he is in the parlour, and she showed them in. Well jack, said the priest
