- There are many stories told about hidden treasures. There is a story told about Fountain Cross, that a little man used to come out in the day and he used to be smoking a pipe and he would sit upon a rock, the rock all day long smoking his pipe and he said that if anyone came near him he would kill them and it is said that there is money buried underneath the ground.
- Davoren's fort. There are many stories told abut Davoren's fort. It is said that Leprechauns used to comet in the night. There was a pot of gold found in Davoren's fort by a man from Ennis. He was picking mushrooms and, as he went near he could see them pointing.
