Jack Sexton Kilcolumb,Kilmaley and Michael and Pat Griffey Knockatona Kilmaley were great singers .Old Senan Cleary ,Caherea Ennis was a famous singer.James Bolton Cahermore Kilmaley tells stories about giants etc in English .James McMahon, Kyleatunna, Kilmaley carried a cap stone for Kilmaley bridge 100 years ago .it would take four men to carry this stone ,and the tops of James Mc Mahon's fingers burst with the pressure of the weight.
Batty Barrett and James Hassett the tailor were the best runners in Kilmaley.
