    O Briens field is called because a man named O Brien owned it.It is in Mr Lyons land Barntick.
    Cnoc na Sgeice in the same man's land is so called because it is surrounded by a whitethorn hedge.
    Sean na caill in Mr Lynchs land Barntick is so called there was a wood in it long ago.
    Dar bán in Mr Cahirs land is so called because the grass turns white in Winter.
    Newtown field in Mr Lyon's Land Newtown is so called because there were houses being built in it that the people thought it would be as big as the town of Ennis. The Bull Paddock in Mr Lyons' land is so called because there is a bull kept in it.
