  1. There is one fort built in Carrigg's field. It was built by the Danes soon after they coming to Ireland. The forth is now surrounded by bushes and briars. There is a hole in the middle of it. It is about three feet deep. The hole was made about twenty years ago. For three days they kept at it but on the third day they did not return home for dinner. Their parents went on search of them. One of them was found about twenty yards from the hole. Another was found where they used to go in. The third was found in the hole. That shows that no one should have anything to do with forts,
