  1. In my father's farm of forty six acres there are fifteen field. To distinguish the different fields we call each by a name. Some of the names are, - The house field, the calf field, the forge field, the fort field, the paddock, the close field, the valley, the well field, the long field, Balangers field, the ray, the limekiln field, the milking lawn and the green. All of these fileds are called after something which is in or near them. We call one the well field because here are five springs in it, another, the house field, because there was a house built in it once. Balangers field is so called because a man by the name of Balanger lived near it. Another is known as the forge field because Mr Meaney's forge is near it, and so on. A river which comes from Kilmaley lake flows through the most of it and supplies
