  1. There was once a great sinner in this parish. He went to confession and for a penance the priest told him to go at the dead of night and to pray at his father's grave which was in Burrane Churchyard. He did as the priest told him. He was not long praying when he heard a noise and immediately his father's grave moved and went out on the road and the wall stood still inside it and his father's grave was never seen again.
