It's true I am a stranger in the midst of you all
And I feel myself happy when on me you call.
To sing a few verses you ne'er heard before.
In praise of your parish sweet lovely Rossmore.

The ladies and the lassies are hearty and gay
In fun and in pleasure their time pass away
Their kind hearted manner would make you adore
The fair sex that dwell in sweet lovely Rossmore

The boys they are active nimble + Tall
And have won a great honour in kicking the ball
With brotherly love each other adore
And live always content in sweet lovely Rossmore.

That neat little stream which flows gently + keen
Through the heart of Parke valley + sweet Tarraheen
It glides slowly on and so gently do soar,
By that ancient old mill side that stands in Rossmore.
5.
Now see our fine chapel just as you pass by,
With the missioner's cross it awaited close by.
That yard it contains a square acre or more,
