  1. Tadhg Gabha + Sir John
    Somebody once reported to Sir John that Tadgh Gabha had a gun + was a Whiteboy (or Ribbonman?) He came to accuse him but Tadgh was ready for him + had a deep hole dug in the dung. Into this he was thrown + the dung packs around him leaving nothing overground but his head. Sir John then swore he would never meddle with Tadgh again.
