  1. Sir Thomas Fitzgerald:
    Sir Thomas was son to Sir John the Flogger, but lived at Golden Hills near Golden. He married Margaret White (Yellow Peg) to whom the place belonged.
    One of his sons was hanged as a boy when demonstrating to his brothers + sisters how his grandfather hanged people.
    All the remainder of the family went wrong in after life.
    Sit Thomas was one of the best anglers in Ireland and employed a number of bailiffs to mind the rivers of Tipperary. Eady Bláth was the head bailiff.
    Sir Thomas went deeply into debt + after being defeated in some law case in Dublin which would cause
