  1. Here, I lay me down to sleep
To God I give my soul to keep
If any evil thing come over me
I pray the Queen of Glory waken me
There are four corners in my bed
    There are four angels overhead
    Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John
To bless this bed that I lie on
If I die before I wake
To God I give my soul to take
To Heaven above where I may rest
With God’s saints and angels ever blest
This prayer to be said after retiring to rest.
