- Dan Keane lived in Lattin long ago. One day as he was going down the road riding an ass without a tail. There was a guard standing on the road talking to another man. The guard called him over and asked him why was he riding an ass without a tail. The guard summoned him as to what happened to his tail. Dan said that left him out on the road and a motor car came along the ass was lying down on the road and the motor rolled over his tail and he couldn't put it on any more.
