  2. 1. SIgns of weather in sky, moon, sun, stars and rainbow. When the moon does be very fast going it is a sign of rain, and when the sun is rising red. When the stars are shining it is the sign of frost. A rainbow in the morning a sailors warning, and a rainbow in the evening a good night.
    2. Wind in certain points. When the wind is coming from the north and east it is the sign of snow, when the wind is coming from the west it is the sign of rain, and the wind is from the south it is the sign of a storm.
    3. Birds and animals. When the seagull does be coming into the land it is the sign of a storm: and when the robbin does be coming near the house it is the sign of snow, when the cat is licking his face it is the sign of rain, and when the dog is at the side of the fire.
