    The cuckoo comes to Emly in the month of May. She is heard in the months of May and June. She is not heard later than June.
    The cuckoo is rarely seen and is a very shy bird. She flies among bushes, hedges and trees.
    It is said that if your right ear hears a cuckoo it is a sign of good luck.
