    Long ago there lived a smith and he had a forge. One day he was working in it when a man came in to him for a heat of the fire for it was a very cold day.
    They had a long talk and when the man was going away from the smith he said he would give him three wishes what ever he would wish for. Then the smith said anyone that would catch his sledge that they could not let it go until I would tell them. All right said the
