  1. (continued from previous page)
He told her he wanted to see her that night. Then she came on to his house and he had great welcome for her. He told her that he wanted to ask her one question and to tell him the truth. And she said she would if it was in her power. Then he asked her was he baptized in the catholic church and she nearly fell with the fright. Then he said "Tell me the truth or I will shoot you". Then he said to him "you were such a handsome baby". I got you baptised in the catholic church. Then she said "Shoot me now if you like" and he cried no that he would not shoot her for he was glad that she told him the truth and he have her a lot of money. Then he turned a Catholic in years after.
