  1. A ghost Story
A man from this district was coming from Bansha one bright moonlight night in the Autumn. At Mr Ryan's gate at Curraghana there are two panels in the wall. On coming near the wall he saw what he believed to be a man sitting in one of the panels and he bending up and down. he got very frightened and he spent all night on the road afraid to move watching what he thought to be a man. When morning came he saw that it was only a huge thistle with a blossom on it which was shaking in the breeze.
The ghost had gone with the dawning of the day.
