Old Het used to to tell of the little woman who was engaged to prepare the priest's breakfast when a mass was being said in a house.

Old Het used to tell of the little woman who was engaged to prepare the priest's breakfast when a mass was being said in a house. Her payment was "the leavings", often so plentiful that the men-folk "begrudged" it to her.

"And the name they used to call her, says Het, was "Biteamhnach an Bhreicfeasta"
