  1. A Holy Well
There is a holy well at Tubrid. Tubrid is a small place with a shop and two or three other houses. The well is called St. Ciaran's Well. It rises out of the ground beside the river Tonogue about fifty yards from the road. People use the water for all purposes. There is a Pattern Day held there once a year on the 10th November. All the people of the parish of Ballylooby visit the Well on that day. It is said that some cures took place at this well one time.
