    The players stand or sit in a line. Two are picked out one for the Angel and the other for the devil.The angel whispers a colour to each player. The devil comes along saying,
    Devil, Knock Knock know
    Angel, who comes there
    Devil, Devil with his long tail
    Angel, What does he want
    Devil, Colour
    Angel, What colour
    Devil, He then names a colour
    The player with this colour runs and if he reaches the den before the devil can catch him he still retains his post as angel. If caught he is claimed by the devil and then takes his place.
