There are cross roads still called Madden's Cross. Thre is a field called Hurley's field from Mr Hurley who lived there There is a corner still called Landy's corner from Mr Landy.
Names of the fields in Lisheenpower
Hurley's field because a man named Hurley lived there.
The Cottage field is the field outside the cottage. The Quarry field so called because they used to quarry stones in it in olden days.
