  1. Garlic is a cure for a worm in a cow's tail, it is put on the tail and a piece of red flannel tied around it. After a while the worm dies and the tail gets alright.
    Snarlus (Soldiers) is boiled and the juice is put into milk. This is said to be good for delicate children.
    Milk Thistle (Soft Thistle) is squeezed and white juice comes out of it and this is supposed to be a cure for warts.
    Camomole - grows in a boggy place It is made into a poultice with poppy heads and applied to cure mumps or sore ear
    Dock leaf. - is supposed to take away a sting of a nettle
