    He shoes horses, and donkeys. He makes spades, shovels, and axes. Some part of the forge work is done in the open air.
    It is said that if you had warts on your hands, and you put them to one of the sparks flying from the red iron it would cure the warts in the end of three days.

  2. There are two tailors in this district now and they work in their houses. One of them stocks cloth.
    Cloth is not spun or woven locally now, but it was in olden times.
    Tailors do not work on Monday, as they consider it unlucky, and so it is called the tailor's holiday.
    Tailors use a scissors, a machine, a tape, a large ruler, a needle, and a thimble.
