  1. People get corns and they are hard to cure, and chillblains are just as bad. There is one cure for them which is when the Smith cools the horse shoes in the trough of water if the person puts his or her feet into the water the cillblains will be cured. People wear clogs yet in factories, I know a clog maker, Mr Ennis, Carrigbeg, Carrick on Suir. He makes the clogs out of alder and birch. He travels from place to place.
