    Crows, blackbirds, pigeons, pheasants, thrushes, cuckoos, wrens, skylarks, gold-finches, corncrakes, and sea-gulls also come to the river if there is a storm at sea. All the other birds are seen the whole year round except corncrakes, cuckoos and skylarks.
    Crows build their nests in the tops of highest trees.
