  1. There are many people whom doctors have not been able to cure who have been cured by herbs that grown wild in fields. One herbal cure is a herb foxglove which cures disorder of the heart.
    Some animals can cure also, a ferret is able to cure whooping cough, by drinking a little milk which the ferret has left, one can soon be cured. There is also a cure for burns in a lizard's head.
    In this district there is a Holy Well called Tobhradh Íosa or in English the well of Jesus, which is supposed to cure all sickness.
    Cold water is a cure for a sprained ankle or wrist.
    Two sorts of poultices are good for sores or cuts, bread poultices and
