Mrs Foley's great grandmother was caretaking at Elliot's old house in Southlodge. After going to bed her maid and two children a great tumbling noise was heard. She sat up in the bed who ever had come to disturb her of her night's rest! She was not very thankful to them. It stopped a while but began again more than before. She jumped out of bed and cursed that she would find out who was there. A laugh was given that shook the whole house. She saw a hand being laid on the end of the bed which did not stir till morning. The woman did not stir till morning either.
