  1. A man named David Rocket was coming from Carrick one night he was coming by Hackett's gate when he heard somebody call him by his name. He paid no heed but walked on and again he heard his name being called but he still kept walking on. But he could not go on and again he heard his name being called in a mournful cry and he went back but he saw nothing but he could not go home. He went home another way.
    Mrs. Foley's father had a lovely crop of potatoes. He found out that someone was stealing his potatoes. Himself and another man went out to watch; it was about 12 p.m. they saw men riding horses and women
