  1. This is a name of an old road. It is called "BIanconi's Road". It starts from the cross gates and goes along by Halloran's and across the race course and it breaks out on a bye road at Prendergasts. It continues down by Lonergan's and it breaks across the railway and along by O'Tooles and it breaks out at Carey's cross. It runs along the Bally Patrick road and through Kilcash and up High Street and out through nine mile house. The reason it is called "Bianconi's Road" is because Bianconi's mail travelled on it.
