- Hidden Treasure in Lisronagh Castle.It is said that there is gold buried in the old castle near Lisronagh. About one hundred years ago men came to dig for it one night. After a while digging they came to a round flat flag and under that the gold was. When they came to the flag a soldier appeared around the church which stands beside the castle riding a horse. They did not mind him at first till he came up to them. They got afraid of him and shook holy water around. He disappeared and they kept on digging.
