  1. There is an old moat in Kiltrassey. One evening a little boy, a hunchback was minding cattle in the vicinity of the moat. He heard music proceeding from the moat. Going closer he discerned the words:
    "Monday, Tuesday, Monday, Tuesday" repeated over and over again. After listening for a time he joined in and said "ay and Wednesday." Immediately the music stopped. The little boy was suddenly taken within the moat to find the place full of fairies.
