    There are eight people over Seventy years Two of these are ninety years: Miss Kate St John and Mrs Ellen Cormack. Both can tell stories in English and have a good knowledge of old customs.
    The townland got its name from the fact that it rises to a pinnacle over 900 feet above sea level near the house now occupied by Mr Michael O'Shea.
