  1. There are two standing stones on our farm. There is no known history about them but it is believed they were some kind of division of property in the Land-lord days, as one of the fields in which one is placed belonged to two different Land-lords. On this stone is carved the date 1883.
    Both of these stones are alike. They are about five ft high and about four ft in circumference, at the base, slightly tapering to the top. They are stones of one piece only.
