  1. There is a mass rock in Mullally's wood. It was erected in the penal days when the priests were hunted and forced to flee to hiding places. The people around used to attend mass in that wood at the risk of their lives. The place is still kept holy and mass was celebrated there about six years ago by one of the Mullinahone priests.
