The church in Grange was the present church of Grangemockler one time.

The church in Grange was the (present) church of Grangemockler one time. When the church fell (all) any of the land -lords that owned land around Grangemockler wouldn't give the people of the parish a piece of land to build a church on as they were against the Catholics. They got a piece of land to build a temporary church where the Creamery of Grangemockler is now. All the people went mass there until O Moore from MooreHill rear Youghal gave them a piece of land to build Church on. Since that time all the people of the parish were very grateful to "O Moore".
