  1. In the penal times there were many persecutions. The priests were hunted out of every parish and they could not say mass except in hiding.
    During that time there was a good priest by name. "Fr Hally"; who travelled all over Ireland saying mass for the people.
    At that time too, there was living in South Lodge a terrible tyrant by the name of Eleth.
    This Eleth was a descendant of Cromwell and anyone that insulted Eleth that person was shot or hung.
    One day Fr Hally was going up Glenlower and he met Eleth
