    The food long ago was quite different to what it is now. Now we use tea, meat, and other kinds of food. For breakfast long ago they used to have "stirabout" and thick milk.

    They used to have potatoes, salt, and thick milk.

    "Stir-about" and thick milk
    Before going to bed, They used to have oaten-bread and milk.
