  1. Hidden Treasure.
    Amongst the counties of Ireland there is scarcely any district in which hidden treasure is not buried. There is some of this treasure supposed to be hidden in Tullamaine under the Moat. Tullamaine is situated about four miles West of Fethard. This moat is situated about one hundred yards East of Tullamaine castle. The owner of the castle and Moat is Mr. Vigors. The Moat is supposed to be the burial place of an Irish King or Chieftain and his treasure is said to be buried with him.
    Some yeras ago four men tried to unearth this treasure but they did not succeed. Those men were Mr. Hickey, Mr. Darmody, Mr. McCarthy
