  1. In olden times when there were no roads, people always had a right of way through their neighbour's land. One can still be seen, starting in Clarebeg, running through Keane's and Purcell's land and joining the Cloneen road for Fethard. All the people from Cloran and Walshbog used this path as a short cut to Fethard Mass.
