  1. Snow-Storm.
In the year 1888 the biggest snow-storm I ever heard of occurred in this locality. The snow was about twenty feet high and did a great lot of harm to everything. It started to freeze about two days before the snow, and when it fell it became piled high, a horse and car could travel on the top of it, it was so hard.
