  1. There is a white - thorn bush up in the Corrigeen. In the olden days in the time of the war, someone buried money under the bush, after a few years a woman went digging for it, after a few hours digging she heard some noise behind her, she looked to see what it was, and when she turned round to dig again, the hole was covered in, and a crowd of birds flew over her head and frightened her.
