  1. A man named Dan Brett lived in Ballydonnell some time ago. He got sick and his people sent for the priest, and as it was a wet day the priest brought with him his umbrella. Umbrellas were very scarce at that time. When entering the house he closed his umbrella and after going in he opened it again in he opened it again to let it dry. After attending the sick man the priest came out and as it was fine he forgot his umbrella and came back for it. When he came back he found the people had
