    There is a field in Kyle called "Keily's field" How it got that name is as follows. During the time of the "White Boys" the magistrate was trying to catch a "White Boy named Keily. This boy was after committing some crime and it was in this field he was caught.

    There is an old churchyard in Kyle and near it there is a well which is called the Mash.

    There is an old churchyard in Kyle and near it there is a well which is called the "Mash". It is said that this well was used by minks. If this well is cleaned up there is a date to be seen on the side of it. There is also a field near the churchyard called "Cor-na-cille".
